Virginia Beach Sunfish IDs

These were caught and released near my house. Its about a 1/4 mile round pond. There were schools of 2" bass, many other sunfish and medium size bass. The center is all floating plants. I cant imagine all those bass maturing.

First fish (second photo) is a green sunfish, second fish (third photo) is a pumpkinseed.

thanks. It is really clear. I threw a minnow trap in. It looked like a coral reef, there were so many fish swimming around it. None went inside. A turtle even came to check it out. I'm trying to find blue spots in the area. I think they would be eaten in this pond.

I agree, i think with Green sunfish in that pond it would be a miracle if theyre are any Bluespots alive.thanks. It is really clear. I threw a minnow trap in.
