Buying a house with an approx. 30,000 gallon stream-fed pond, dug into hard-pan. Pond is about 9 feet deep at one end and 3 feet where it gets shallow. Pacific Northwest temps, so probably 50's and 60's most of the year - haven't measured the temp yet. Want one, huge wet-pet in there. So far I'm convinced a blue will do well in there. Anything I'm not considering? Any other monster U.S. native fish that would be happy in there?
Blue catfish care?

Bowfins might be fun - not monsters like a blue cat, but monsters nonetheless, and their range extends a lot farther north than blue cat.
PS you cant fool us. You didn't buy a house with a pond. You wanted that pond and it just happened to come with a house.
