I'm looking to collect a few saffron shiners in Virginia and would appreciate very much if anyone could direct me to site where this fish could be easily collected (i.e abundance). Thank you so much.

Never been there but am looking to acquire a few for my tank but cant find a commercial source. Im also looking for rainbow shiners & srbd's. Those I can find online but from different vendors.

In VA, try rocky tributaries of New River and Holston River west of I-77, from Wytheville to Abingdon. See range map in Jenkins & Burkhead's Freshwater Fishes of Virginia.
