Hello
I'm contacting you on behalf of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management, regarding a photographic competition we organise on their behalf, called the Environmental Photographer of the Year.
The Environmental Photographer of the Year competition is open to photographers of all ages and backgrounds. The main theme for the competition is images that examine environmental issues; specifically images that explore our relationship with the environment and the impact our actions have on the natural world. Following an open submission process, the final selected entries are brought together for an exhibition which initially shows in London before touring UK and internationally. During the London exhibition the £5000 Environmental Photographer of the Year award is presented, along with £1000 prizes for both a Young Environmental Photographer of the Year and an Environmental Video of the Year. Attached for information is a press release about the competition.
This is a fantastic opportunity to share images of environmental and social issues and we really do want to spread the word as much as we can. We would therefore be so grateful if you might include notice of this opportunity in your newsletter or on your website, or just pass on by word of mouth to anyone who you think may be interested. We have printed poster/leaflets to advertise the initiative, which we would be happy to send to you if you are able to display them, just let us know.*
You can also follow us on twitter and facebook, and further information about the initiative can be found on the competition website:

We do hope this will be of interest to you and if you have any queries or require any further information, please do let us know.
Thank you in advance for your help.
With kind regards
Chloe Dunbar
