Hello,

I'm in a bit of a bind... I just found out (or rather, was just reminded) that I volunteered to put together a fish display for the Little Cuyahoga River Watershed Festival this upcoming Saturday (Aug. 18th). I will have two 20 gallon tanks on display. One is supposed to represent a fish community prior to stream restoration. I'm thinking that tank will have very few fish, and the species will be tolerant species. I'll likely put in a few green sunfish, creek chubs, and a yellow bullhead. The second tank is going to represent a fish community after stream restoration. I think I'm going to try to collect redside dace, southern redbelly dace, rosyface shiner, rainbow darter, and maybe some mottled sculpin...perhaps a sunfish or two and a madtom...we'll see what I come across.

Anyways, I need to collect the fish on Friday afternoon, and I could really use a hand pulling a seine. So, if anyone wants to lend a hand collecting some fish for this educational display, give me a ring at (630)408-2154 or an e-mail at ntessler@enviroscienceinc.com

Thanks!

-Nate

A bullhead will outgrow a 20 gallon fairly quickly.

Sorry I missed this, Nate! I'd have been up for it.
