Ive been looking online for good sources of internal fish anatomy images. I can't seem to find anything beyond the basics. If anybody has a good text book to recommend or website I would forever be in your debt.

Thanks.

The only one I know of offhand is this one: http://thegab.org/Go...al-anatomy.html
I reference it to show people that goldfish don't have true segmented stomachs.

Thanks! That helps, but Im really looking for comparative anatomy ideally. I just don't want to spend $60 on a text book online and find out its not what I wanted.

PM me your email address, and I'll send you a .pdf of my Ichthyology lab manual. It's a pretty thorough compilation, and has plenty of internal/external anatomy.

Search abebooks.com for Chordate Morphology by Malcolm Jollie. There are copies for less than $10. This is a classic text and the only place I found the internal anatomy of a hagfish.

A good 'ole copy of Hubbs and Lagler (1958) can be had for about 10 bucks or less too.
