Is SoCal Southern California? if so cool. We need more west coasters as the knowledge of that area seems sort of lacking and they have cool things out west like preserved divergent glacial refugiums and neat fish you never hear of here like tule perch, sacremento perch, spike dace, sand rollers, golden, apache, and gila trouts, etc.

I have recently become aware of gaps in our knowledge base that need more people to fill (west coast, arctic fish, canada and mexico fish, salt water). And mire people who know of these areas/regions the better.

Welcome to the forum. I am sure you will find what you are looking for if you sift around enough. This is the greatest collection of native fish enthusiasts on the web.
