hi, these little guys were caught in the drainage ditch behind my house in alachua county and i was wondering if anyone could help me id them, i had to bring them inside to take a picture with my ipad (which was ridiculously awkward) but they have been returned to the ditch where they came from and were only out of it for about 15m, during which they were kept in water from the ditch

They are all bluegills. Look for the distinct vertical barring on the sides, as well as the black spot on the soft portion of the dorsal fin.
