Eric Hanneman will present the Janaury 3 program on his experiences living aboard the NOAA research vessel Nancy Foster for 3 weeks last summer, where he and other researchers explored the Baltimore Canyon on the continental shelf off the Maryland coast. http://deepwatercanyons.wordpress.com/

RAS Monthly Meetings are First Thursdays 7:30 to 9:30 pm at the NCSU Veterinary School in Raleigh. From the main lobbly, go downstairs (under the whale) past the library and thru two double doors. South Theater is the first room on the right. Maps and directions are on the RAS website. Monthly meetings are free and open to everyone -- We hope you can join us.

ALSO: Our 28th Carolina Aquarium Workshop (six speakers, auction, raffle, vendor displays, native fish field trip, etc) will be Feb 15-17 at the State Fairgrounds, James Martin Bldg, just across Blue Ridge Rd from the Vet School.
