I know there are some of you that usually donate to the annual convention. I would like to keep track of what people are planning on donating to this year's convention. If you plan to donate please post here or send me a pm. Thanks

Josh,
I will be bringing 3-5 fish hats, 2 will be nemo hats just cause they look great. I'm also attempting to make some fishmas tree ornaments Kentucky species of course. I'm hoping to come up with a couple other items but not sure yet.

Here's some ideas for others that might be nice:

More fishmas ornaments, don't have to be perfect replicas the folk art style is cool

Live food cultures, even just starter cultures.

small fish tank set-ups 2-10 gallon decorated and planted along with small natives like pygmy sunfish, least killies, Bluefin killies, flagfish, swampfish etc. Would be nice for a breeder pair or trio. Maybe a pair of smaller madtoms.

small rocky tank set up for 1-3 dwarf crayfish (always wanted to do one of those for myself)

fish coolers for transporting your catch

homemade on the water fish holders harness with container

old but usable equipment you don't use anymore but someone else might like

homemade 3d tank background for you handy, artsy types

cool driftwood

live plants

if you're good with clay, fishy paperweights I love my "Mad Tom" creation I picked up at I think at the NC convention I'm still upset I was outbid on some of the others I really wanted that "Stoneroller" one but my budget didn't allow it. Who did those anyway they all were well done and humorous.

What are some other items from past auctions people remember and enjoyed. Maybe your recollection will inspire someone to bring it to Kentucky.

The 2013 Auction was a wonderful success. As always our resident auctioneer was amazing... thank you Phil Nixon. And we had a ton of fun while raising money for NANFA and the work that we do for North American Native Fishes. Please see the official thanks on the website here and remember to support the people that decided to support NANFA.

Yes, a HUGE thank you, from me to all who donated and helped make the auction a great success.

Michael, when you have time, you should make the companies's name a link to their websites.

Also, add Ale 8 One

Updated all of the extra names provided and made the company names "clickable".

Not only should we support these folks, but this can also be a good reference in the future for donations, and a good example to show them that we will publicly thank them for their contributions.
