Reef Tectonics is a professional aquarium maintenance and design company that provides aquarium cleaning, custom aquarium design and installation, aquarium relocation, consultation, and aquarium emergency services. We have a variety of clients in Omaha, Lincoln, Kansas City, Des Moines, and other metro areas, and we are currently looking for an additional Aquarium Maintenance Specialist in Kansas City to add to our team.
The Aquarium Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining client and in-house aquariums, installing and moving new aquariums, completing needed repairs, traveling to client locations, visiting new potential clients to inform them of company services, and helping the team with office and warehouse-related activities.
Applicants must have basic knowledge of salt and fresh water aquatic life maintenance and aquarium set-up, be certified in open water diving, CPR and First Aid, or be capable of gaining certification, possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and have two years’ experience, either as a fish enthusiast, diver, aquatic maintenance technician, or with some other related background.
Position starts at $12.00 per hour. Will consider higher starting wage with relevant experience.
