Blunt-nosed minnow or Stoneroller

I never thought I'd be unsure about these two but I am. This fish seems to show a dark stripe sometimes and sometimes it is more speckled. What do you think?

That's a stoneroller.

100% Stoneroller, notice the banding on the dorsal fin, bluntnose have a spot at the front of the dorsal.

Nice picture Carl! Definately a stoneroller, and a great one for identificaiton.
In addition to the spot, the first dorsal ray of a bluntnose is half the size of the second. It's very clear in this picture that it's not the case. As well, you can sorta see some of the tubercles forming down the size of this fish. Tubercles are only found in the head region on the Pimephales minners.
