The 38th Annual NEC (Northeast Council of Aquarium Societies) Convention will be held at the Crowne Plaza in Cromwell CT this weekend - Friday, April 5th through Sunday, April 7th.
9 Speakers – Vendor Room – Sunday Auction – Banquet – Workshops - Club meetings – Fish Show
Talks on NA natives include:
Charles Clapsaddle (Goliad Farms) speaking on "American Gambusia".
Todd Gardner (Long Island Aquarium) will be doing two talks: "Gems of New York: Collecting Your Own Marine Fishes in Long Island Waters", and "Carnivorous Plants: Ecology and Propogation".

I really should not make fun of people, but I cannot get the images out of my head of what a gambusia farmer must look like...
