Today I finally got out to enjoy some nice weather after this crazy midwestern spring, and I was able to see my first snakes of the year (my interest in nature is primarily in reptiles and amphibians though I obviously enjoy fish too) as well as some cool little darters which I painstakingly caught barehanded (forgot my net). I have guesses but I would appreciate it if anyone could confirm.

I missed the top critter. I may be wrong, but on the large rock bottom right of photo. On its left side there may be a snail between two pebbles.

Nice pictures! Makes me want to dig up the pics of one of my favorite rainbow darters from SW Ohio. He was very photogenic, both out of and in the water.
