Hello, I have never kept yellow perch before. I would really like a couple, I don't know much about them and was wondering, what is their minimal tank size? Thanks.

Adults. 125 gallons would be pretty ideal.

You might want to check your local laws. Yellow perch are game fish so I'm not sure what kind of permit you will need to keep them. Here is a link to the Tennessee fishing regulations: http://www.tn.gov/tw...h/fishmain.html

I think 125 would be a good starting point, but bigger is always better. I like them in Koi ponds to deal with the glut of young each year. The won't bother anything too big to eat, and don't get too big so the adults are safe.
