Please help me identify this fish - I am pretty sure it is one of the Hemichromis. Thanks in advance.

Definitely a Hemichromis but I have no idea on species.

Absolutely not Hemichromis lifalili.
It's Hemichromis letourneuxi

Thank you all for the feedback.

This is an interesting note from the USGS survey -

" Until recently, all published references to introduced populations of this species taken in Florida were incorrectly identified or listed as Hemichromis bimaculatus"

The FL farms have imported jewel cichlids from many locations over 60+ years to develop colorful aquarium strains, beginning long before some of the "newer species" were given names. So I'd guess feral jewel populations in FL may be of mixed origins and no longer match the descriptions of wild African species.
