Both of these were found in Blue Creek, a part of the maumee river system in northwest ohio. I am convinced that the fish is a grass pickerel, but the teardrop seems less distinct than the stripe across its eye, and Im not sure if that is normal or not. If you look closely you can see a smaller fish in the pickerel's stomach. Could these eggs be fathead or bluntnose minnow eggs? Both are present in this creek. The eggs are on the underside of a piece of flat bark. Thanks!

That is definitely a Grass Pickerel. The line without pigmentation on it's side is the best identifying feature.
