Blue Thumb is a state coordinated program that trains and utilizes volunteers to monitor water quality and collect biological data on local waters. They've been very successful in OK and are having an appreciation day for their volunteers at the Oklahoma Aquarium ( http://www.okaquarium.org/) in Jenks Ok (near Tulsa) on Sat Nov 9 from 1:00 - 6:00.

We plan to set up a display table with pictures and looped video of Oklahoma native fish and stream diversity for the event. The display will be accessible to the Blue Thumb volunteers as well as all aquarium visitors. Nov 9 also happens to be "scout day" with reduced admission for scouts (including 4-H and FFA) and their parents, so we expect a pretty good crowd.

We'll have NANFA literature on hand and would love to have a couple OK or northwest AR NANFA volunteers to help run the display.
This is a great chance for some NANFA members to get together and talk fish, while educating the public.

If interested please feel free to contact by email or ph.
Thanks,
