Hey I sampled a couple of these sculpins tonight at dinner. Wonder what Dr. Neely can tell me about these? Seems like they are native to California.

I worked in San Diego for a while and visited Balast Point. Apparently a lot of the employees are on a fishing team together.

Sampling a couple of IPA's will make anyone see sculpins. They are like 7% goodness or above.

My goodness, that looks like a fish I caught almost 20 years ago on a bluefish fishing trip by the isles of shoals. red color (mine was a darker red), winglike fins, and double horns above the eyes. At the time I didn't know saltwater fish so never IDed it. Apparently it must be a sculpin.

As for sampling the other kind of sculpin at dinner, apparently from what I read here they do not taste good. http://www.catch-m-a...hard-luck-tail/
