Hi all-
The 2014 Corcoran Educational Grant is accepting proposals thru January 15, 2014. Please get the word out regarding the solicitation of proposals.

My name is Scott Schlueter and on behalf of the North American Native Fish Association(NANFA), I am writing to notify the ______ members that our organization is accepting proposals for the Gerald C. Corcoran Educational Grant (up to $1000). The educational grant program has a focus on native North American fishes and their environments. The North American Native Fishes Association, Inc. (NANFA) is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt corporation dedicated to the appreciation, study and conservation of the continent's native fishes.

Projects that would be considered include the following:
- Producing and distributing educational materials (books, brochures, posters, displays, video, internet resources, etc)
- Stream surveys with education as the primary goal
- Public lectures
- Nature center displays
- School materials and displays
- Teacher training workshops

Grant submissions must be received by January 15, 2014.
