West Virginia Seeks to Prohibit All Exotic Animals

This article comes from Herp Alliance (a reptile group), but the laws they are talking about in it would effect people who collect wild native fish as well. I thought I'd pass it along for those who live there or who collect there. If it passes it could prohibit all native collecting.

The original list had a couple fish on it (mosquito fish, snakeheads), but in July 2014, the board came up with a revised list after much backlash from pet owners.  There are currently no fish listed.  Here is the link to the latest revision that I could find:

The board will meet each year to revise the list as necessary.
