USFWS has reopened the comment period about the Candidate Conservation Agreements regarding the extremely vulnerable Spring Pygmy Sunfish in Limestone County, Alabama, just to the west of Huntsville. Basically remaining habitat is being surrounded by expanding suburbs and industrial lots, which of course are both threats to groundwater quality.
