Hey gang, Russ here from Washington State. I like to swim rivers up here in the PNW and film the salmon and trout that populate our waters. I found this forum when a recent TR linked to one of the videos I shot last spring. After checking out the NANFA forum I thought I would introduce myself.
Over the last couple of years the Facebook group dedicated to river snorkeling has grown slowly to nearly 1,000 members, and has become a neat way to spread the message that the humble streams in our own areas are under appreciated windows into the secret life of fish, critters and bugs. I admin the page with Creek Snorkeling's Keith Williams from Maryland and Amy Wales from Tennessee. Sharing content from others and also posting about our own adventures, we encourage you to share your excitement and passion for the underwater world with others in the hope that people will better appreciate the importance of healthy waters and wild, native fish.

I look forward to reading your TR's and catching up on the many interesting threads here. The NANFA is right up my alley. Thanks for this awesome resource!

Where in Washington are you?

I've always liked the sculpins best myself.

Welcome to the forum, Russ. It looks like you have some very nice videos. I will have to check out your links some more. There is a group of us here who really enjoy river snorkeling. NANFA's annual convention this year is in North Carolina in June, and there will be a group of us who will spend the better part of 4-5 days doing a lot of snorkeling. I know NC is far away for you, but it would be a lot of fun if you could happen to make it.
