Hey guys! I've had a native tank setup since last August and I'm new to the forums. I have one sunfish in an aquarium, but am looking to expand soon. There's a lot of diverse fish in this area, and I love going out and finding new species.

Your helpful local endangered species lists:

^I'm jealous, your annual fishing license is only $9. North Carolina's is $15 for inland and $35 for inland and coastal. Also, wow, your state has an alligator hunting license.

What kind of sunfish do you have?

Welcome Dallasyork,

Glad to have you join us here. I am the Georgia regional representative. If there is anything I can do locally to help you, just let me know.

You live in a great part of the state... with lots of desirable species up there. Actually you are so far up there, that you might be closer to our Tennessee regional rep in Chattanooga.

Either way, pay attention here on the boards and yo will see that there are going to be several outings here in the next few months as we swing into spring.

That be true...
Tennessee is sweet but the collecting laws assinine. Fortunatly i am content to enjoy the big natural aquariums while immersed found just about everywhere east, west and north of my homestead.
You can visit sometime but get involved with Michael. He is a fine fish monger.
I doubt you will find a Longear and Green hybrid... those are on polar ends of attitude.
