Well unfortunately Todd and I won't be creating a NANFA superpower at U Toledo. As I complete my masters thesis in Tennessee I'm accepting a position with Maryland DNR. I've never collected fish on that side of the mountains and though my job will be stream surveys I still wanted to know if there were any members who lived in that region.

Element works part-time for the MD DNR. You have Bob Bock and Chris Scharpf off the top of my head. Depending on where you are at I'm not far as it only takes about 30-40 minutes (without traffic) to get a bridge to cross over. I actually live only a few miles inland on the VA side of the Potomac River.

Where you looking to live?

Well I'm looking to live somewhere cheap on my single income for now before my fiance finds a job and can join me out there. Probably will end up in that broad area existing between the D.C., Baltimore, Annapolis triangle. If you've got any suggestions or better yet places to avoid I'd appreciate a PM Drew. I totally forgot our AC's have MD return addresses!

Yes, Todd I know. I was runner up apparently. Christine offered to take me on without a project, but she said the availability of TA's was unclear until the end of the month. So the prospect of an undetermined, unfunded project coupled with being burnt out on thesis and manuscript writing made a job sound all too nice. Otherwise, NANFA might have had to open a Maumee River Extension Unit.

I'm only about 60 mile north of there up here in PA!

I live in the Glenn Burnie area and will most likely be working with you at DNR. Check your mail box. I left you a message.

Yeah, I've been here about two weeks now, but I've just been very busy with work and getting settled. I'm way over booked (canceled a presentation at NABS and a slim chance I'll be at the convention) the next two weeks and our field sampling is starting up too.

Cool, if you ever get out to do any personal sampling or collecting and need a partner, let me know.
