I received my new mini dipper yesterday, let me start by saying this thing is built like a tank! I'm fairly certain I could fight off a bear(black not brown) with this thing. The build quality is 1st class. I gave it it's first field test today at a local lake. I was looking for some bullfrog tadpoles and the area I was looking in was pretty gnarly. There were roots, sticks and thick weeds everywhere. Well my min dipper laughed at all of it. I caught so many green frog tadpoles, baby sunfish and what were either yearling bullheads or margined madtoms that I lost count. I did catch one bullfrog tadpole and brought it home and one other that may be a bullfrog tadpole but I'm not sure. The net itself held up great and the thick frame went through all the obstructions like a champ.
This net gets a 2 thumbs up from me.
