Last weekend catfishcain and I did some microfishing in the Ozarks. I want to say thanks to Lance Merry and Tyler Goodale for helping me with a few of the locations.

Ha, actually we only went 1 for 6 on our targets. We were hoping to catch MO saddled, Meramec saddled, AR saddled, brook, current, and gilt, but the only one we were successful with was the brook. Next trip some snorkeling is in order so we can get a better feel for what part of the riffles those larger river darters like to hang out in.

Is this critter that you caught?
Yes Siree, there is a lot of sweet stuff in the Ozarks. My wish is to return this July, taking family along. I spent 2 weeks in MO/AR last June. Burned a DVD full of photos and videos and fishy tales.

That's the one! Their orange bellies really impressed me.
