My grandmother's house is in Hernando and I visit a few times a year.

I live in Chicagoland but visit Florida land a few times a year.

I have small fish room with mostly Cichlids but keep livebearers on occasion.

Pygmy Sunfish sound interesting -

Was looking for places to collect around Hernando / Crystal River and potentially South Florida.

Order a copy of the Florida Collectors Guide.

Google it.

Thanks Casper -

I had emailed Charles yesterday morning, might have to give it more time.

I was not sure if that was the proper place - thanks for the confirmation -

An excellent resource for anyone interested in Florida Natives, and excellent fish to keep in home aquaria. I think they are working on a 4th addition and it should be available soon.
Get a FL Gazateer as well and just radius out from wherever you are. Lots of springs too, and clear rivers. Caution with Gators and Water Mocs though. Your net will be full of mysteries!

I've been waiting for some time now to get the latest edition, but I have not heard anything lately. I guess they are still working on it.
