Great video, Derek. I like the 'scavengers' following him around. Am I correct to assume you spent far more time watching him than you did recording? I know I would have.

We spent probably an hour watching these guys. There were maybe 4-6 of them in a slow pool and in 3.5 feet of very calm water, you could easily sit as long as you wanted. Still photos didn't come out exceptionally well because it was shady, but they were very cooperative for video, and at times they would swim amongst our feet. It was hard to edit the video down to 5 minutes when I had 12-15 minutes of footage, but this shows what they're all about.
