I know I've mentioned it a bunch of times on here on some of my other threads but just so I can get a clear answer here and I know I'll be fine doing this.

Is there any Seeable problems with keeping 2 green sunfish (make and female) in a 30 gallon long for life?

I currently have the female (she's 2.5" now) already in the tank with a pair if Greenside darters that I'll be moving out soon and I'd probably catch the male somewhere in the 2.5-3.5" range. I just want to make sure there probably won't be any aggression issues, I know it's always a risk but if I'm willing to move the female into my 75 if the male becomes unexpectedly aggressive. But I don't want to keep the two together knowing that there probably will be aggression with that number. If you guys think the male would be to aggressive then I'll just give my female the whole tank to herself and not get a male.

Oh ok, thanks for the input. I haven't heard any others say that yet so I'll let a few more people chime in before I make my decision but as long as that's the general consensus I'll just keep the female alone.

With some structure dividing the tank, it may work fine. I think there are so many variables, that you just have to give it a shot. Have an exit plan.

It's difficult to get a clear answer for this because there really is no clear answer for it. Most species of sunfish are known for territorial aggression but that doesn't mean coexistence in a tank is impossible. If I want sunfish, I usually take the easy way out and only keep one per tank and only add tank mates of other species that it can't eat, but I do have a 55 gallon with a rock bass and a Lepomis living together and it seems to be working. Like Matt says, adding structure to the tank can help. I've also found, in my situation, that cutting the lighting time back to less than 10 hours per day seems to help keep the males from nesting, which can go a long way toward curbing aggression. If you try it and do find that you are getting aggression then some research and trials to try and solve the problem will be an interesting way to do some hands on learning. Good luck.

Is it the 30g tall?
Could you possibly try this in the 75g you mentioned? What else is in there?
This is usually the part where I ramble about sweet 5' tank deals on Craigslist ;)

No it's a 30 long. Other than the female it has a Greenside darter pair in it now but I'll be moving the darters to a 20 tall soon, definitely before I'd get the other green if I do get one. The 75 will soon have a full bioload with a striped raphael catfish, sailfin pleco, and yellow bullhead so I'm afraid to put anything else in it. I'd love to get another tank but physically I don't have any more room until I get my fish room (who knows when that will be but hopefully soon). Lighting isn't an issue, none of my tanks ever get more than 6 hours.

I'll have to think on whether or not to try getting another, thanks for responding guys.

I think I'll probably just do the female to avoid any possible issues. Is there any way I could possibly have a lake chubsucker in a tank this size and it will get along with the sunfish? Saw that Zimmerman's Fish had some and I've been interested on them for a while.

You would probably be better off with the female as the larger dominant fish. Males are typically more aggressive, and she could keep him in check with a size advantage.
