Do they make a tin can big enough for all these fish? Pretty cool video, and it's interesting that the largest school seen in decades occurs in some of the warmest waters the species inhabits.

Saw this on the news tonight..amazing.

I will admit my first thought was how good they'd be grilled with a good olive oil and garlic.

there was a story about ca shark population rebound, citing protection and other causes, but I have heard it is the return of anchovy populations feeding the whole chain, what is known about the anchovy recovery?

I'd like to see a diver with a camera get some cool footage of the school, and what larger fish will chase them.

That's really cool. It'd be amazing to see sardines rebound. Read up on the history of the sardine industry in Ca. It's sad. Then read Cannery Row by Steinbeck. Awesome book.
