Hi all

I've been away for a while, but I've kept up with my fishkeeping and have recently started a new 29 gallon tank!
I do have some freshwater tropicals in there but I am keeping some space open for natives.
Are there any I can keep in a 29 gallon tank?
The current inhabitants are 8 Cardinal Tetras, 5 Kuhli Loaches, and 3 Sparkling Gouramis.
I have sand substrate and live plants. I have one fake ornament and the rest is driftwood.
The live plants are Wisteria, Java Fern, Anubias Barteri, Anubias Nana, and Anacharis.
Here is a current picture:

Bluefin or lined killies, swamp or tesselated darters, sailfin or lowland shiners, ... those will stay small enough to coexist with small tetras, and can tolerate warm water.

Awesome looking tank. Zimmerman's has bluenose shiners for sale right now that look really cool. They would be a good sized fish for your 29 gallon. They only max out at around 2 inches as well which will be perfect for your tank. If you look at the banner at the top of the page. The fish on the left is the bluenose shiner.

Two inches is a good size.
The bluenose shiner looks good, or the swamp darter as a second choice.
