after doing some research here on the NANFA site, ive decided to get my net from here. http://jonahsaquariu...e/netdipnet.htm what color would be the best? for the most part I would be sampling in streams and rivers in north east Indiana. I was thinking green, seems to have always worked good in the aquarium, what do you guys think?

This has been discussed on here before, too. Not sure exactly where or I'd link you to the thread. If I recall, there was a slight preference for the black netting as it was thought to be less visible. Personally, I'm not a skilled enough netter that color could possible affect my game. I kind of like the white because it is easier to see fishes go into and then to find them against once the net is out of the water.

I could write this same thing. The country boy in me had rather have a muted color, but white does let my old/bad eyes have better contrast. I can also tell when it is clean and hopefully free of plants and other critters so I am not as likely to be moving stuff from one body of water to another, but I admit all I do is hose it off with a pump garden sprayer with clean water (never used for anything else but rinsing) when out on the road.
That said, when I order from Jonah, it will probably be black... Or green? Didn't I see green on his site at one time?
