I just found something odd online. An attachment for a sealife camera housing to add a gopro camera to it.
This seems very redundant, all I can think of it doing it to take photos and videos at the same time.
Anyone know the point of giving a camera a camera?

I think you nailed it Josh. Still photos in the midst of a video. Higher quality than the GoPro is capable of maybe?

This is an interesting idea for wide angle photos and video, but the parallax error would prevent it from being useful for close up work.
