I found a fish call system online and was curious if it'd work.
http://talkwithfish....-calls-package/
Some of the recordings (fish nesting, fish feeding on insects) sound like they have potential.
Some sound just plain odd (bag or rocks, sine waves) and I wonder what their appeal would be.
Others sound like they'd scare all but the largest predators away. (large predators feeding, bluefish calls).
Has anyone tried this to see if it'd work?

I have never tried fish calls... but there was a presentation at Southeaster Fishes Council a few years ago about how fish are attracted by the sound of stones clacking together... as if they heard a male chub building a nest... and I know the snorkelmeister has created little stacks of stones to simulate a chub nest, and it is crazy how fast the fish seem to show up... they couldn't possible have "seen" the nest... and if they did, they would have seen Casper... but they came very quickly to investigate... would seem that "maybe" they "heard" him building it... the snorkeling experience certainly fits with the more scholarly experimentation.

If you have been around large bluefish feeding on large bait in shallow water, you have heard some serious audio carnage.
No doubt, the distinct, loud "chump" of a menhaden being bitten in half, easily heard by humans, will bring blues and stripers from far way
