I'm 99% positive the correct way to do this is to seek out the nearest Regional Rep/BOD member, drive to their house, and let them photograph and document the background build process and test the background in their aquarium permanently.

Yup, that's all. It's in the NANFA constitution.......somewhere. :biggrin:

You are such a stickler about rules, Josh. Sheeesh! :)

With a Seine and kick-netting into it.  It actually pretty easy.

Something like this: 

 

You can also use a 4x4 seine solo, or a dipnet in similar fashion.

I have caught mine many different ways. The easiest is what Josh posted above. My favorite is snorkeling with a couple small nets and picking out the ones I want. I guess I enjoy the hunt....lol.
