How many gallons does a redeye bass need? Are there any specific things that they require? How hard are they to get?

I'm going to set a fish room hopefully soon so I might be asking more questions about fish species since I'm planning the stuff I need.

Thanks.

So are you talking about a Rock Bass or Coosa Bass?

I would think a min. of 55gal for either, and 75 may be better.

Will you be allowed to bring Coosa Bass into California?

From what I read, any sunfish is allowed as long as it is from out of state or from a hatchery in california.

Is there anyone who sells Coosa bass? They don't seem like they would be commonly aquacultured for pond stocking. Wonder do they breed in ponds?

Does anyone live in a state that allows you to ship bass? I am willing to trade for one, I just need to get the 75 gallon first. Also how do you breed bass? I might try to breed Coosa bass eventually.

KY does, but they are only in one small area of the state, and not the easiest to get to.
