If you open your newest 2015 March issue of National Geographic you will find a nice spread of our Native Fish in the first few pages.  I suspect most of which have been reared by the Conservation Fisheries Gang in Knoxville, TN.

Here is a photo of JR Shute proudly displaying his youngsters.

 

A wonderful bit of awareness for our Native Fish in this esteemed publication.

 

Pat Rakes is hoping the photographer, Joel Sartore and his folks can make a nice poster of these images.

It would make a nice fundraiser for CFI to enhance their work.

Most people I talk to have no idea we have such nice looking fish in the US. I have to tell them most are back east tho. ](*,)
