Fry (~100) ranging 20 to 35 mm are housed in a 225-gallon tank with a piece of netting providing cover. When fish are hungry, all approach me when I come out with feed. After half dozen feeding bouts today those with obviously distended abdomens are hanging back in cover. They satiated fish appear to be observing me and they have a paler color pattern. The fish still approaching to feed are darker.
Bluegill of same size not observed to do such but they also not provided with cover.
