I actually got to take a look at it a few days after it was completed! Very cool stuff!

Lots of improvement already. Looks like there's gonna be a very nice riffle there once the smaller substrates blow out!

It's always great to see unused dams removed.  For those of you who may not be aware of this organization, you should check out American Rivers.

 

Their whole thing is about high water quality and protecting rivers.  They are big into dam removal also.  I'd love to see more obsolete dams taken out.
