Nope, they're native to Asia and Africa.

There aren't any NATIVE anabantoids here in America, but there are a few exotic invasive ones in south Florida, including the Croaking Gourami and the Sparkling Gourami. Strangely, the bigger, hardier, and more common gouramis don't seem to have become established despite having had plenty of opportunity and time to do it.
