Could 3 juvenile striped shiners be in an aquarium with rainbow darters, greenside darters, stonerollers, southern redbelly dace, and redside dace? I could always move it out of my 33 long if it grows too large for the aquarium. Also, what is the general care? I know I made an old thread about these fish, but it was a long time ago and the aquarium stock has changed.

If striped shiners are anything at all like common shiners, the darters will starve to death.

They will all be fine, but like Riffledace says, you will have to work hard to get the darters enough to eat whenever you start mixing shiners of any sort and darters.

Beware of their adult size. I had common shiners that grew to 5-7" and they starts to eating darters and smaller minnows. They're also greediest eaters that won't let anything made to the bottom and that I had to increasing the food for the other fishes and change water more often.
