While feeding fish I saw these tonight...... Fundulus catenatus. I had removed the parents from the aquarium a couple weeks ago. This is a 15 gallon aquarium setup for darters.

Is this the first time you've bred Studfish?  

 

I assume they are on the same temp & lighting regiment as the darters.   Just happened to spawn later in the season.  Very cool.  You may have answered this 100 times already, but what do you do with all the fry of all the fish you breed?  Regretfully, even I have to tell myself, "That's enough darters, Nick".

Good job Ken. Does your breeding male studfish display good colors in captivity?
