I'm sure it's here somewhere?

Edit: Oops found it!

Will join as soon as I get above $2.42 in the checking account!

LOL. I hate seeing my account get that low, but it has happened more than once. Good to see you back around Cecil. You might like the new brook trout thread. http://forum.nanfa.o...per#entry132009

No Problem AZ9 raises brook trout in his spring fed pond I believe for taxidermy reproductions, but also does indoor recirculating systems as well for some fish.

BrookKeeper,

Reading your thread now with much interest.

My 100,000 gallon trout pond is actually fed by a well, not a spring. Wish it was!

I hope to post some pics of my last harvest last fall in a seperate thread. I had about 6 over 6 lbs. and about 60 more from mostly 4 to 5 lbs. All were three year old fish.

Downside to brooks for me are their short lifespans and sensitivity to parasites and bacterial issues during spawning time. Spawning seems to stress them a considerable bit.

I've had good luck intensifying their fall colors with astaxanthin enhanced feed.
