I need hip waders to avoid spiders, snakes, and cold water. Trouble is, I'm 5' 3" and skinny. Where can I get hip waders that'll fit me? I'd prefer reasonably breathable ones, this is Texas and I'd rather not pass out from heatstroke while standing in the middle of a river.
Where can I get small hip waders?

Some companies make small/slim waders for kids ... I dont recall which brands. As longs as the feet fit OK, it doesnt matter much if they're baggy around your legs. The water pressure will will hold them snug against you. Of course if you step too deep, baggy waders will fill with a lot more water! Heat retention is not much of a problem with hip waders -- more of an issue with chest waders.

I'll check out BassPro, there's one right near me. Anything in particular I should look for? I'd just like to be snakeproof and reasonably cold-resistant. I don't even need completely cold-proof waders- I am a stubborn person and I've gone wading in January for no other reason than I was bored.
And I definitely won't be outgrowing them, I got short genes from my mom. Haven't grown any in almost 5 years.

Matt DeLaVega's son had some slim-build waders at the NC convention.
If Bass Pros doesnt have any, you might PM Matt and ask where his came from.
Maybe we need an equipment exchange section in this forum?
There must be people who outgrow waders that are still usable, unlike Betta and me.
