It's ice fishing season!! Woo!! Anyways, I'm a fairly experienced aquarist, and being so, I get interested when I see a different fish in the tank at the bait shop. Found this little beauty while checking out the heavy suckerminnows tank:

I'm thinking it's either a chub or a shiner of some sort. Located in Minnesota, in the Upper Mississippi watershed, not far from Millacs Lake.
I'm fairly certain that I followed all the rules for posting, so could you guys please help? I've tried my best to ID this guy, but I keep Tropicals and Saltwater, not native

Yup a blacknose face. I live 15 minutes away from Lake Mille Lacs. I always find lot of surprises in bait livewell and took them home. Even still have mudminnows I found in bait bucket last year and got them on pellets.
