Alright, just finished up the second video in my series of short clip GoPro videos, Fish Bytes. It's a quick look at a bowfin we encountered while snorkeling Ginnie Springs. Enjoy!

That's awesome, especially the end. The bowfin have become one of my favorite fish since i started keeping them here at the aquarium. Really neat fish.

Pretty cool! Didn't know they could do that knifefish-style ripple with their dorsal fins. 

Looks like he figured out that you weren't going to eat him. Clever fella.

There was only shaky, distant footage of it, but the most interesting behavior was the same sized bass that was following it in case it scared up any prey. That was what first made me notice it in the grass.

Agree with everyone else on the dorsal, very cool. If only they didn't have those booger-worm facial appendages! The end was the best, loved how it got brave and turned the tables. For one smack anyway!
