The cut off date for the discounted rate and room block for the 2016 NANFA Convention in Portsmouth NH Thursday June 9th thru Sunday June 12th is May 9th so reserve your room soon. Rate is $95.99 plus tax which is a good discount for prices in that area and time of year plus if we get an average of 20 room nights we get our event room free. After May 9th the discount is gone and rooms not reserved from the block are open to public.

I just made my reservations for Tuesday night thru to Monday morning checkout! Flying in to Portland, Maine on Tuesday late and renting a car to drive down to the convention. I can hardly wait!

Mike, with that rate, what kind of room is it?

Choice of room with 1 king or 2 doubles in main building. Note: you don't have to talk to Dana as long as you say "reservation code NANFA"

Lauren and I are doing the same plan, but we fly in on Wednesday I believe and drive over that evening.

I registered today for a stay wednesday to sunday. Arriving a day early to get ready.

My biggest surprise was that they didn't want my pay until checking in despite needing my credit card number when I called. I was expecting to use my tax return on it and hoping I could get enough to pay my bills. Bills though high (tire replacement and heating oil plus my usual) may not be the obstacle I feared if the actual paying happens on check in.
