Best color for holding tank?

What's the best color holding device to make any color-shifting fish (darters and the like) develop their brightest colors while being transferred? Would black work?

I use a black bucket. Keeps fish calm and they keep natural colors.

I'm liking my blue (unnamed big box hardware store) bucket and a grey/silver one that I got as a gift. Some fish will actually darken significantly in a black bucket (like white bucket disease only backwards).

I'm in the black camp. Keep in mind, black buckets will heat up significantly faster that white ones in the sun.
