Hi!

I don't really "do" forums (due to past negative experiences), but I would like to meet any fellow fish geeks who might be resident to/visiting my area. I'm primarily interested in snorkeling and fish watching but I am also happy to help you with collection or if you need somebody to paddle with. My watersheds are Choctawhatchee, Econfina Creek, and possibly Shoal/Yellow River and Chipola. I might be persuaded to venture into S. AL or over to Leon County for special occasions. I have a kayak, entirely too much snorkeling gear, boots, a drysuit, and a few buckets and nets. I also have some ideas and contacts for public outreach activities if anybody is interested. Since I don't do forums please send me a PM and I'll email you. Thanks!

I would like to visit such a place again but will not be reliable in getting there.  Forums can be safer as out in the open.

Find ways for people not already interested in natives to value them.

I don't live near you, but I do visit your area and snorkel the nearby springs almost every year. Perhaps it will work out to meet up for some snorkeling sometime, though I have to admit I would be more likely to want to meet up with someone who I had already gotten to know a little bit about through the forum. I'm sure folks here would love to hear about some of your fish watching adventures - especially if you have photos to share.
